Held over three days at the serene Curraweena House in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, this retreat is designed for those ready to release emotional tension, build physical and mental resilience, and reconnect with their full vitality.


With only 10 participants, this retreat offers an intimate, grounded space—supported by nature, nervous system science, and the intelligence of your own breath. This isn’t a yoga retreat. It’s an immersion for those ready to meet themselves fully—breath by breath. A space to unplug from distraction and return to the clarity that already lives within. At The Breath of Life Retreat, we work with three foundational pillars to guide the process: Breath to access the subconscious, Body to release stored tension, and Beliefs to shift the internal frameworks that shape how you live. 


This isn’t about adding more. It’s about removing the noise, dissolving the armour, and reconnecting with what’s always been there. Each pillar offers a pathway into deeper presence—and an invitation to recalibrate the way you relate to yourself, your energy, and your life.

Breath: Reclaiming The Energy of Life

Your breath is the most direct access point to your nervous system. Through functional regulation, resilience-based activation, and Rebirthing-style Conscious Connected Breathing, we use the breath as both mirror and medicine. You’ll experience breath as a tool for:

  • Expanding your window of tolerance
  • Accessing subconscious material
  • Releasing emotional suppression
  • Returning to presence and wholeness
  • Each breath brings you closer to what’s true

Body: Releasing The Tension of Life

We carry stories in the body—shaped by habit, history, and emotional survival. In this retreat, we work with bioenergetics and somatic movements to access and release stored charge. This is permission—to feel, to move, to express, to soften. You’ll explore:

  • The muscular armour that holds emotion and belief
  • Sound, movement, and breath to dissolve tension and meet your edges for confidence
  • A deeper awareness of how your body protects—and how it can begin to open

Beliefs: Reframing The Programs of Life

Beneath the postures we hold are the beliefs we’ve absorbed about who we are, what’s safe, and what’s possible. This retreat offers guided frameworks to explore and update the inner narratives that quietly shape your decisions, relationships, and self-perception.


Through spiritual psychology, and integrative inquiry, you’ll begin to identify outdated or unconscious beliefs, align your actions with your values, and separate truth from programming. This is about reclaiming inner authority and remembering your capacity to choose from clarity.

Over the course of the weekend, you’ll be guided through a layered process of breath, body, and belief-based transformation. You’ll work with The Cycle of Expansion. This model will guide our Breathwork journeys, reflections, and group processes across the weekend—creating a safe, contained arc for sustainable transformation.

About Mark Moon

Breathwork and Holistic Wellness

Mark Moon is a globally registered Breathwork practitioner, known for his integrative and soul-aligned approach to Breathwork. With over 25 years of experience in the wellness industry, Mark bridges ancient wisdom with contemporary science to support lasting, embodied transformation.


Combining Breathwork, Yoga, Bioenergetics, and Spirituality, Mark creates spaces where the breath becomes both mirror and medicine, revealing what’s ready to be released and what’s waiting to emerge.


He is professionally registered with the GPBA and currently serves on the executive committee of the Australian Breathwork Association. Mark is known for his deep presence, intuitive guidance, and respect for each individual's process.


Whether facilitating retreats, private, or group sessions, Mark supports clients to regulate their nervous systems, realign their energy, and reconnect with their purpose — all through the power of breath and expanded self-awareness.
