Beta and Gamma cover the largest brainwave activity and are associated with the normal waking state. This state is associated with analytical thinking, decision making and most driven by ego programming identified with the daily dramas of our personality.
Alpha brainwave states are associated with relaxed wakefulness, dreaming and REM sleep. Brainwave activity is slower and our thoughts are fewer and further apart, often associated with a feeling of wellbeing as serotonin is released into the system.
Theta brainwave states are associated with increased creativity and feeling relaxed as the movement of the mind slows down to the equivalent state of deep sleep. This is where creative solutions and inspirations arise and we access the unconscious mind.
Delta frequency where brainwave activity is profoundly healing and most restorative for the body, due to the release of human growth hormone. In Theta and Delta states you may enter into a void of nothingness, but awareness still abides.

You'll learn about the energy of your breath and learn breathwork techniques that you can use on a daily basis to establish a regular practice at home.
